Amy graduated from the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management, with her undergraduate accounting degree and Master of Accounting degree with an emphasis in taxation.
Degrees in hand, Amy started her career in the Bay Area, working at a prestigious firm that serviced start-up companies and high-net-worth individuals. She is no stranger to California taxes, lengthy brokerage statements, Schedule K-1s, and stock options.
When the California rent became too much to bear, she returned to Tucson. Ultimately, Amy found her home at Tucson Tax Team in September of 2021.
When Amy isn't preparing tax returns she loves spending time with her family. Amy and her husband were friends for 20 years before they married, and they have a beautiful baby girl. For hobbies, Amy enjoys traveling and amateur photography. Her favorite vacations have been a road trip in Iceland, a four day hike to Machu Picchu, boating in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and honeymoon in Italy.
Amy is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP).
Rachael is a third-generation tax preparer. She loves Lebanese food, exploring new cities, a good book, and anything to do with cats.
She was born and raised in Tucson and met her husband, Rocky, at the University of Arizona. She graduated with her undergrad in Accounting from Eller Business School. Because 4 years of college just isn't enough, she took one extra year to get her Master's in accounting as well. After graduating, she left Tucson like every other millennial to live in Denver, CO and was an internal auditor. Eventually, the desert called her back home, though she's still adjusting to the summers again.
Rachael is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) but promises that despite the designation she won't use any accounting puns around you, and she most definitely does not own a pocket protector. She has worked for two other CPA offices before settling into the family business. Rachael has plenty of experience with rental properties, employee stock options and small business taxation.
Rachael is a member of the National Association of Tax Preparers (NATP).
